A video of an elderly Varanasi resident has reportedly gone viral on the internet, capturing the public’s attention as he protests Modi’s rule in an unusual manner.
The elderly man was seen protesting against Modi after he promised that Varanasi would be transformed into Kyoto, a Japanese city, but nothing has changed and the roads remain the same after nearly nine years.
The man was laying on the side of a broken road in Varanasi with more potholes than the road itself, them too flooding with sewage water while the traffic behind him suffered.
The people in the comments seemed to side with the man and criticized the government for not fulfilling their promises and not reconstructing damaged roads.
