My Positive Reflections

There are several happenings from the last three months that I can recall, but the one I want to remember is Ek or Ek Gyarah, or working in a team. The members of the learning group (the mega project-group circle 5) were all exceptionally intelligent and helpful. We used to get together and talk about one another’s strengths, places for growth, and weaknesses. The input was always encouraging and never seemed to pass judgment.
With the passage of time, I learned how to nurture creativity and learning in a diverse setting. A person working on a project alone will probably not want to stick their neck out for an off-the-wall idea. If the project fails when working solo, you will take the full brunt of the blame.

It was pretty amazing for me when we were assigned to do a mega project. We (Circle 5) worked on Plastic upcycling (Aceupcycling) and used plastic bottle caps for wall decoration. We have also done awareness sessions regarding pollution-free environments in different schools, and academies.

Teamwork enables individuals to take greater risks since they can rely on the support of the entire group in the event of failure. On the other hand, celebrating together as a team can strengthen bonds. When a team thrives as a unit, their brainstorming sessions will yield ground-breaking concepts without delay. I learned from my team members and built on each other’s skills to create more impressive results in the workplace.

One of the best parts was writing our goals and values in life. The discussion we had during the session forced me to think of what makes me the way I am. Who am I? What are my values and why are they mine? Once you identify your weaknesses and strengths, you become able to work on them and become a better version of yourself.

I have always been in quest for my purpose in life. Although I had devised my goals, this activity helped me visualize my thoughts and why I think the way I think.

One of the nicest experiences was thanking someone for their accomplishments and expressing gratitude and admiration for them in online sessions. This event had the biggest impact on me because it helped me realize that being grateful for others usually makes them feel better about themselves, inspires them to keep doing good things, and makes it easier for people to connect with one another and learn more from one another.

This epiphany was largely a result of how those around me behaved and displayed their enthusiasm, both during sessions and during zoom meetings. We used to complement each other constructively and express our gratitude to our friends for their assistance. This was a true demonstration of Ek or Ek Giayara and mutual growth.

This three-month time gives me self-assurance, inspiration for self-improvement, and a route on which to understand who I am. I want to express my appreciation to our mentors. Particularly they assisted me throughout the program Miss Iqra Rana (PM) and Miss Swaiba Mazahir Zaidi (PA). They both really aided me in my quest for fellowship. Last but not the least; I would love to thank the entire staff at “Amal Academy” for their dedication to the betterment of our society.
