A search and strike operation will be conducted in Dera Ismail Khan District following the recent wave of terrorism in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, police sources told The Asian Mirror on Saturday.
According to a police source, due to the recent wave of terrorism in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, a search and strike operation has been decided in Dera Ismail Khan and the details of the police force have also been sought in this regard while the series of snap checking also continued at different times of the night.
According to Police, in the search and strike operation, is expected to surround various suspicious and sensitive areas of Dera Ismail Khan, and searching of suspicious houses and detention of suspicious persons is also expected. “The people living in rented houses will also be fully investigated”, the source added.
Operations will also be conducted against illegal weapons in the houses so that if the terrorists contact the facilitators living in the city, they can be dealt with.
District Police Officer (DPO) Dera Ismail Khan District Muhammad Shoaib is also continuing to check sensitive places at different times of the night through night vision binoculars so that any untoward incident in the city can be dealt with.
