Nor Diana, a 22-year-old Muslim woman from Malaysia, made history by becoming the first hijab-clad professional wrestler ever.
The Malaysian woman began wrestling at the young age of 14, and with perseverance and fighting to realize her objectives and goals, she smashed every sporting barrier possible.
She competed against four men and prevailed in the Malaysia Pro Wrestling Wrestlecon Championship in 2019.
She is known by her name “The Phoenix,” which represents her never-ending determination to be the best version of herself and to win repeatedly.
She faced many obstacles throughout her wrestling journey but she didn’t give up even though wrestling might be challenging at times.
Diana’s love for wrestling never ended and she was always thankful to all her coaches, supporters, and admirers all across the world.
