Former chairman Najam Sethi is expected to replace PCB chairman Ramiz Raja at the helm of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).
According to reports, Sethi is a strong candidate for the position because the government is considering changing the board of directors, and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has also hinted about replacing Raja with Sethi.
PM Shehbaz had a luncheon with Sethi and his wife and MPA Jugnu Mohsin in Lahore.
Prime Minister wants to restore the PCB’s constitution of 2014 in order to revive departmental cricket in the country.
Big changes are expected in the PCB set-up next week.
