A man died and several others were injured when a college tour bus went off the road into a ravine in Murree, a mountain resort city.
The vehicle was carrying over 30 persons, including students and teaching personnel, when the tragedy occurred in the Khaira Gali district. According to reports, the trip was organized by the COTHM College Gujranwala.
The deceased has been identified as Abdul Qayyum, who was the bus conductor. Rescue officials have shifted the injured to a hospital for treatment.
It is important to mention that more than 22 tourists froze to death last year after their vehicles were trapped in snowfall in Murree.
