Does the Law of Attraction really exist?
Although the law of attraction has drawn a lot of attention recently, the idea is not particularly new. These concepts have intellectual roots in the “New Thought” movement of the early 19th century. The film “The Secret,” which was later made into the best-selling book of the same name, and its 2010 sequel, “The Power,” sparked a rebirth in interest in the concept during the 20th century.
According to the law of attraction, a person’s life will manifest great consequences when they think positively, while negative ideas will have the opposite effect. It is predicated on the idea that positive energy attracts success in all spheres of life, including health, money, and relationships. Thoughts are a form of energy.
Advocates contend that the law of attraction is based on three fundamental, universal principles:
1. According to this law, objects that are similar to one another are drawn to one another. It implies that people prefer to attract those who are like them, but it also implies that comparable outcomes are attracted by similar thinking. Positive thinking is thought to produce good experiences, whilst negative thinking is thought to attract undesirable events.
2. Nature abhors a vacuum, thus according to this law of attraction, clearing out the bad things from your life might allow room for more good things to enter. It is predicated on the idea that it is impossible to have a mentally and emotionally empty area. The proponents of this ideology contend that since something will always occupy this space, it is crucial to fill it with positivity.
3. The present is perfect at all times. There are always things you can do to make the present moment better, according to this law. This law suggests that even though it may seem like the present is constantly somehow defective, instead of experiencing fear or unhappiness, you should put your energy towards thinking about ways to make the current moment the best it can be.
The human brain does not emit any kind of frequency waves and our brain frequency is not the same as someone else’s brain frequency. There is no such thing as the Law of Attraction in science.
What happens is that our brain tries to set our behavior according to our surroundings. In such a situation, when we spend too much time with a person and start talking to him too much, our brain almost becomes addicted to that person and starts copying all his patterns.
This is not what we call frequency matching, but the brain’s learning mechanism. Under this mechanism, the brain tries to copy the habits of this favorite person and bring them into you.
For what?
Because you want and love this person so much, your mind begins to imitate that person and bring you closer to them.
Now it’s very simple that every person’s routine is more or less the same every day. What we do and what we think is pretty predictable. So, as a result of living with this person, our mind starts making all these predictions, and sometimes two or three predictions or coincidences out of thousands come true and thus we start to understand that our minds are connected and have started matching. But in actuality, it is nothing but all the behavior that our brain learned by living with that person.
Now if you start living with a buffalo, after some time you will start knowing the buffalo more than a person, but this does not mean that you and the buffalo’s brains run on a certain “frequency”, rather it is all the learning mechanism of our brain which aims to increase the chances of survival by knowing the environment better.
