Prime Minister Imran Khan, a proponent of nature-based eco-tourism, released a video of a Himalayan Brown Bear on his official Twitter account earlier this year.

The marmot, snow leopard, markhor, ibex, blue sheep, brown bear, musk deer, and snow wolf were among the endangered species.
Imran Khan inaugurated the Himalaya and Nanga Parbat National Parks in Gilgit-Baltistan last December with the goal of protecting endangered animals and promoting eco-tourism in the region.
The snow leopard (Panthera uncia), also known commonly as the ounce, is a species of a large cat in the genus Panthera of the family Felidae. The species is native to the mountain ranges of Central and South Asia. It is listed as Vulnerable on the IUCN Red List because the global population is estimated to number fewer than 10,000 mature individuals and is expected to decline by about 10% by 2040.
