Political Madness in Pakistan

As winter is approaching, the political landscape of Pakistan is being heated up with political activities. The leader of PTI is openly criticizing the ousting Chief of Army Staff with false allegations for point scoring and political momentum. The civil administration is busy creating obstacles to counter the ongoing madness of PTI Long March. In the same picture, the fourth pillar of the state is raising voices for the security of journalists and Media workers. After the death of Arshad Sharif, the whole political point-scoring game has been accelerating at a very fast pace, especially, since the PTI narrative started to revolve around the foreign conspiracy and Arshad Sharif’s death.

PTI long March is going to reach Islamabad on 10th November 2022, the echo of this march was being heard in the White House when a journalist asked American spokesperson, Ned Price, regarding Former Prime Minister of Pakistani Imran Khan’s protest march towards the capital for demanding fresh elections, but in his speech, he is once again blaming the United States for regime change in Pakistan. Price totally negated this conspiracy by saying that the US won’t let propaganda, misinformation, or disinformation get in the way of an important bilateral relationship, including a valued bilateral partnership with Pakistan. The USA values the long-standing cooperation between the United States and Pakistan.

To answer another question regarding American influence in the portraiture of Pakistan’s elections; Price clarified: “I understand in the case of Pakistan, elections have not yet been scheduled, but we support the peaceful upholding of constitutional and democratic principles not just in Pakistan, around the world”. The USA also pointed out that the clarification has been given several times now.

The clear statements from the USA depict that Wisdom and common sense demand that leaders who rest the responsibility for the peace and well-being of millions of human beings, must act cautiously and rise above personal ambitions and narrow-mindedness when it comes to taking decisions on a global level. Unlike Imran Khan who has been busy generating a cult to rebel against the system, morality, and state by creating forts in the air.

The fate of Pharos is in front of everyone yet people do not pay heed to how he was wiped out. Hitler and Mussolini created terror in the entire world and were involved in the wholesale massacre of innocent people, which is condemned and abhorred to this day. History will record that This up surging PTI long March is actually building up the biggest blunder and massacre, done deliberately, and indeed, It is an irony that people do not learn from history. This ongoing political tension created as a result of the long march depicts that IK must not let the younger generation stray away from their main goal of Pakistan’s betterment rather than letting them wander after him for IK‘s political career.

Geopolitical concerns that shaped USA’s regional collaborations and priorities also defined relations with Pakistan. The USA divided bilateral ties into different phases. First, in the Cold War, when the US goal was to contain communism, Pakistan became USA’s ‘most allied ally’. After that, came the pressing need, after 1979, of rolling back the Russian invasion of Afghanistan. Later on, the post-9/11 phase involved beating Al Qaeda in the ‘war on terror’. That episode ended with the USA’s exit from Afghanistan. After Biden’s cold statements against Pakistan for calling Dangerous country and later on, the Ambassador valuing Pakistan and the US relationship seems like a covering strategy against cold POTUS’s statement.
