Shocking details of what happened last night to Azam Swati and his family were stated in his press conference. Azam Swati held a press conference in which he cried wholeheartedly while “announcing” that someone sent a private video of him and his wife to his wife itself.
He stated that “What was the fault of my wife and my granddaughters that they were forced to leave the country? Why isn’t our dignity protected? He also said that because of the treatment being reserved for a sitting Senator, my wife and granddaughters have been forced to leave Pakistan.
Lamenting the shocking incident, Chairman PTI also tweeted criticizing the state institutions for violating human rights.
“Pakistan was created on Islamic moral values of human dignity, the honor of the family & inviolability of chadar & chardawari. What has happened to Azam Swati at the hands of the State has been a blatant violation of all these values – from being stripped naked to custodial torture,” he tweeted.
