Imran Khan to address the nation at 4pm
Imran Khan is currently hospitalized in Shaukat Khanum Memorial Hospital Lahore. He will be addressing nation at 4pm. He has also called PTI session on urgent basis.
Before that Secretary General PTI Asad_Umar announced on his Twitter account related to countrywide protest after Friday prayers. Last night Imran Khan named three persons for attacks at his gathering in Wazirabad on Shehbaz Sharif, Rana Sanaullah, and Major General Faisal.
“Imran Khan asked us to make this announcement on his behalf just a short while ago. He believes that Shehbaz Sharif, Rana Sanaullah, and Major General Faisal are the three individuals at whose direction this was carried out. He claimed to be receiving information and is basing his statement on that”, Asad Umar and Mian Aslam Iqbal of PTI remarked
Imran Khan was shot in the legs during his long march following the attack on Thursday by two men. Khan began the march last Friday in Lahore and has since stopped in a number of towns en route to Islamabad, where his party intends to hold a sit-in in support of new elections for the nation.

Nearly 200 kilometres from Islamabad, in the Gujranwala area of Punjab Province, was where the PTI caravan was supposed to stop today. A gunman, who looks to be between 30 and 40 years old, tried to shoot the PTI leaders who were standing on the container’s roof while a large group of PTI supporters marched alongside it on foot and others in vehicles toward today’s destination.
Police detained a suspect after he admitted to them that no one had sent him to carry out the crime.
