BTS to serve mandatory military service
The global superstar, popular Korean boy band BTS Military service confirmed. BTS had a free concert on October 15th in Busan. Army was happy when they saw their beloved idols performing in front of them. The news of BTS’s mandatory military service has left fans emotional and sad. On Monday, the managing label HYBE announced the news of BTS’s military enlistment that BTS members RM, JIN, SUGA, JHOPE, JIMIN, V, and JUNGKOOK will serve military duties.
A group member, Jin, will initiate the process as soon as his schedule for his solo release is conducted at the end of October. He will then follow the enlistment procedure of the Korean government.
The enlistment of BTS’s mandatory military service has been one of the hottest topics in South Korea as the band is most influential and most popular across the globe.
The oldest member of the group Jin will be the first member to serve in the military, as he turns 30 this December.
According to South Korean military, all able-bodied men are required to perform 18-21 months of military service. this law provides special exemptions for athletes, classical and traditional musicians, and ballet dancers who have won top prizes and magnified national prestige.
Jin was asked about his military service during the band’s Permission to dance on-stage concert which was held in Las Vegas, he answered “I have talked a lot with the company about military service. I talked about how I would entrust it to the company as much as possible. I believe what the company has to say is as good as my say”.
BTS to serve mandatory military service
Jin announced his solo at the Busan concert. he revealed following Jhope’s solo album, he will also release his single in collaboration with someone he admired for a long time. “I have a new album coming out. It’s not that big of a deal. It’s just a single. I was able to collaborate with someone I adore. I have a lot of content to share with you so I hope you enjoy them”.
