Despite losses, would support Starlink in Ukraine: Elon Musk
Elon Musk’s rocket business SpaceX announced on Saturday that it will continue to pay its Starlink internet service in Ukraine, citing the need for “good actions,” a day after he indicated it couldn’t.
Musk stated on Twitter: “To hell with it… Even if Starlink is still losing money and other corporations are receiving billions of taxpayer dollars, we will continue to finance Ukraine’s government for free “.
Musk stated on Friday that SpaceX could not continue to sponsor Starlink in Ukraine indefinitely. During the war with Russia, the service has assisted citizens and military personnel in remaining connected.
Although it was unclear whether Musk’s change of heart was real at the time, he later appeared to hint it was. Musk responded to a Twitter user who said, “No good act goes unpunished,” by saying, “Even so, we should continue perform good things.”
The businessman has been involved in online spats with Ukrainian politicians over a peace proposal he proposed, which Ukraine claims is overly generous to Russia.
