Sreejita De, an actor from Uttaran, was the first contestant eliminated from Bigg Boss 16 this season. She garnered the fewest votes, Salman Khan said on Saturday. This week’s other nominees included Gori Nagori, MC Stan, Tina Datta, and Shalin Bhanot.
Shalin was nominated by captain Gautam Vig, whilst the other four were suggested by Shalin for pushing Archana Gautam during work. The Naamkarann actor was forced to choose four competitors for nominations after a significant altercation broke out in the house.
Sreejita De’s unspoken rivalry with Tina Datta emerged as the focal point during her brief stay in the house. The creators had anticipated them to fight, but Tina kept her interactions with Sreejita to a minimum and avoided physical altercations.
Although Sreejita comes across as a pleasant person, her recent altercation with Gori Nagori garnered attention. She referred to her as “standardless” and said that her vocabulary reveals where she is from during their disagreements. As a result, Sreejita faced opposition from several other contenders who thought her statements were inappropriate.

Aside from the eviction, the appearance of Sumbul Touqeer Khan’s father on the show caused quite a stir. He appeared on the program to criticize Tina Datta and Shalin Bhanot for damaging his daughter’s reputation. Shalin Bhanot was also reprimanded by Salman for disrespecting the medical professionals who had just treated him on the show.
