Sindh: Young doctors to observe token strike tomorrow
Young Doctors’ association Sindh has announced to observe a token strike tomorrow October 13th, 2022 after the Sindh Government decided to stop Covid Risk Allowance.
The plan to observe a token strike was announced by YDA Sindh in a press release today after the Sindh Government announced the discontinuation of The Covid-19 risk allowance.
Young Doctor’s Association said that a token strike will be observed for 2 hours across Sindh against the unfair decision of the Sindh Government.
“It is not Covid risk allowance in fact it is our health risk allowance, these days we are not only exposed to Covid-19 only but to many other diseases as well,” said Dr. Abdul Majeed Jatoi President YDA Sukkur.
He further insisted that Government should reconsider this decision and don’t force Doctors to protest.
Furthermore, he said, we will observe a two-hour token strike at GMC Hospital Sukkur tomorrow.
