Joe Biden’s rating fell to 40%
US President Joe Biden’s approval rating fell to 40% this week, just five weeks before the November 8 midterm elections, according to a Reuters/Ipsos opinion poll conducted on Tuesday.
Responses were collected from 1,003 adults, including 448 Democrats and 383 Republicans. A poll by The Morning Consult in June found that Biden’s approval rating among voters ages 18-34 fell 20% from January 2021 to June 2022.
According to the poll, only 43% of younger voters Democrats believe Biden is delivering on his campaign promises, compared to 60% of the average Democratic voter.
A New York Times/Siena College poll in July found about 64% of Democratic voters say they would prefer a new flag bearer for the 2024 presidential campaign as voters across the country were angered by its leaders and offered meager work 33% gave an approving rating.
Even members of his party have no hope of extending his term as a CNN poll shows 75% of Democratic and Democratic voters want the party to nominate someone other than President Joe Biden for the 2024 election.
