According to the local news media, many vehicles crashed with each other in dense fog near Kot Radha Kishan on Wednesday morning, resulting in a pile-up.
A number of persons were hurt in the collision, which happened near Chungi No 6 in Kot Radha Kishan.
The injured were transported to the hospital, with one man’s condition described as “very critical.”
The tragedy occurred while highway police have been advising motorists to exercise caution while travelling on highways and highways for several days.
They also inquired if it was feasible to avoid travelling in foggy weather.
Also on Wednesday, severe fog blanketed the country’s plains, closing major highways to traffic.
The M1 highway was closed from Peshawar to Rashkai, the M3 highway was closed from Lahore to Samundri and also from Lahore to Sialkot, and the M2 highway was closed from Lahore to Pindi Bhattian.
These highways will reopen to traffic as soon as the fog clears, according to the highway police.
