Punjab CM Pervaiz Elahi lifts recruitment ban
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi on Thursday lifted the recruitment ban. The Punjab CM also announced 30,000 jobs in the province. Recruitments would be made in various departments and projects at grades BPS-1 to BPS-5 when hiring related to BPS-5 above are referred to a sub-committee for review.
Speaking on Twitter, Punjab Education Minister Murad Raas said a summary on hiring over 16,000 educators had been launched, signed and advanced. “I thank Allah for giving us the chance to create these opportunities for our young people,” he added. Upon approval of the summary by the Prime Minister, the government of Punjab would publish a tender to hire the educators.

The announcement came a day after Murad Raas announced via his Twitter account that the process to regularize 14,000 teachers had been launched, signed and was moving forward.
