Funeral of Queen Elizabeth II: List of invited & not invited leaders
At the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II, hundreds & hundreds of royals are expected to attend funeral of the honourable deceased in London. It is claimed to be one of the most significant diplomatic gatherings in the country.
The funeral will be performed at Westminster Abbey, which has space for around 2,000 people. In this colossal figure, about 500 are expected to be heads of state & foreign dignitaries desired. Apart from that, this funeral will also be Britain’s first state funeral in 6 long decades. Therefore there will be Queen’s family, courtiers, UK politicians & numerous public figures.
Talking about the famous personalities, there’s Japan’s Emperor called Naruhito & empress Masako who will be their first ever overseas trip post taking up their throne in 2019. Another head of state will be Denmark’s Queen, Margrethe II, Spain’s king called Felipe VI, along with his wife, Queen Letizia. Even Felipe’s father & the former king, Juan Carlos I, are also expected to attend. He had put in self-imposed exile back in 2014 after being surrendered in disgrace.
The crown prince of Saudi Arabia, Muhammad Bin Salman, and his facto ruler were invited to Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral. Still, a late night on Sunday announced that he wouldn’t be attending.
Apart from that, the state leader’s list includes US president Joe Biden & his wife Jill, who flew in on Saturday as part of the head of the diplomatic guest list. France president Emmanuel Macron is on the list, along with Turkish president Tayyip Erdogan & Jair Bolsonaro from Brazil. China is expected to send their vice-president on this Great Britain Occasion.
Other head of states Ursula VON Der Leyen, European Commission president, President Sergio Mattarella from Italy, Frank-Walter Steinmeier of Germany & Isaac Herzog of Israel as part of the invited list.
The not-invited list includes the ambassadors instead of the head of states from numerous countries around the globe. The index consists of Iran, North Korea & Nicaragua. Russia & Belarus were also excluded because of the ongoing war in Ukraine.

However, the Russian president, Vladimir Putin, has spared himself from considering the ban on him from travelling to the UK.
Other countries which are not invited include Afghanistan, Syria & Myanmar.
