Chinese constructed building in 28 hours: stuns social media
Recent reports of a 10-story Chinese building built in 28 hours have taken the internet by storm, people have come up with all sorts of theories claiming that it is humanly impossible and that the quality of the building will be seriously compromised.
However, it is very different, the construction developer “Broad Group” revealed that the building is resistant to earthquakes and can even be moved from one place to another.
The building, built in the city of Changsha, China, first became news when developers Broad Group posted a 45-minute video on YouTube explaining the construction of the building and the audience was certainly amazed by its speed.
Requiring detailed planning, manpower and architectural skills, even the fastest skyscrapers take several weeks to build from scratch. So, what did Broad Group do to make it grow that high in much less time? Well, they used prefabricated building systems.
A newer and more effective way to create buildings, prefab buildings are designed in multiple modules, all of which come together and create a building. These are first made in a factory and then in turn transported to the construction site, each module is stored and connected to the last one until the building is completed.

Although the building created by the Broad Group was built using prefabricated construction systems, the speed and efficiency with which their workers assemble the bolts and joints, lay the electrical cables and provide water connections at every single level is admirable.
While many think prefab buildings are weak or something that would eventually be destroyed, it’s the exact opposite of what you’d expect. The prefabricated building is solid like any other building and is even earthquake resistant. The best thing about this building? You can simply disassemble it and transport it to another place!
