“The book is going to be explosive”, says Shaniera Akram on husband’s Biography
The Sultan of Swing, former captain & the legendary Pakistani Bowler, Wasim Akram’s biography titled “Sultan Wasim Akram” will come out soon. It is expected to be released in the coming weeks.
The cricket legend took to his Twitter recently & announced, “Finally you will know the truth & my side of the story! Details & Dates soon to follow, stay tuned….”
The tweet sent an instant ripple effect among cricket lovers. Fans & celebrities alike showed immense love & support. It included the star’s wife, Shaniera Akram too.
While talking about the book, Shaniera Akram who herself is a social worker wrote;
“This book made me fall in love with my Husband all over again. So many parts of Wasim’s life that I never knew about. I know it was quite difficult for him to put this to paper & as a wife, it was huge for me to read it & when it comes out, it is going to be pretty explosive. But like the truth, no matter what, one way or another, it always comes out”, added the Akram wife.

The book, however, is written by a very well-known English author & it is going to be translated into many languages including Urdu. Sultan Wasim Akram had touched upon many controversial topics both in his personal & professional cricketing life.
The report says that there are incidents that talk about Justice Qayyum Commission report, match-fixing, Personal Life, 1992 world cup experience s& related incidents & also about the former prime minister & Akram’s close friend, Imran Khan.
Getting the facts right, Justice Qayyum report refers to the 1999 match-fixing case which was brought to Lahore high court by Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). The final court verdict held many cricketers responsible & even the legendary fast bowler too was fined Rs300,000.
The book talks about everything & what Mr. Akram’s side of the story is. The much-loved couple, Wasim Akram & Shaniera Akram is also going to be in a much-awaited movie together called “Money Back Guarantee.”
