D I Khan: Emergency Operation Center sets up medical camps
Medical Camps were set up in flood-hit areas of Malana and Jhok Khallarr of D I Khan District by the Emergency Operation Center (EOC) Department.
Coordinator of Emergency Operation Center Department Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Asif Rahim said other medical camps were being set up in flood-hit areas of D I Khan, these camps will provide patients with free check-up and medicines for 25 days in different areas of Dera Ismail Khan.
In the medical camp set up in Malan and Jhok Khallarr area 488 patients were examined free of charge while free medicines were also provided to them.
Dr. Sudais, a doctor examining patients in the camp, told The Asian Mirror that two camps were set up in the areas Malana and Jhok Khallar of Union Council (UC) Malana, one of these camps is mobile medical camp, both female and male doctors were present in both camps.
Medicines related to viral diseases, climatic diseases, skin infections, preventive vaccinations and Expanded Programme on Immunization (EPI) vaccinations were also done in the camps while routine immunizations were also given to the children.
Dr. Sudais said, 303 patients were checked-up in the fixed medical camp while 185 patients were examined in the mobile camp which also includes children and pregnant women.

“We will set up two camps daily in 50 flood-affected areas of D I Khan and these camps will continue for about 25 days,” he said, adding that our camps will also be held on Sundays to ensure the provision of health facilities to the patients.
The monitoring of the campus is also being done while District Health Officer (DHO) D I Khan Dr. Mahmood Jan and Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Iqbal Wazir also paid a visit to the camp and expressed their satisfaction over the organization and performance of the camp.
