PepsiCo Pakistan Launches ‘Millions of Meals’ Program

PepsiCo Pakistan is providing assistance to communities affected by severe floods in the worst affected states of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sindh, Balochistan and Punjab. Announced a national “Million Meals” program providing emergency food assistance of 5 million meals.

The Million Meals program is funded by the company’s charity, the PepsiCo Foundation, and serves food to the community as part of the Food for Good global food security platform. As part of its relief efforts, PepsiCo Pakistan worked with a prominent food distribution partner to deliver millions of meals to flood victims in Pakistan to address the hunger crisis and meet the immediate food needs of affected families.

Food parcels with monthly supplies of essential foods such as rice, flour, lentils, spices and sugar are being distributed to flood victims and their families. “Due to the flood, PepsiCo Pakistan and PepsiCo Foundation employees have launched food rationing campaigns in Sindh, Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Punjab regions.

With the Million Meals Program, we will continue to provide emergency food assistance, working with trusted food distribution partners, as we did to feed affected communities during the pandemic. To increase the impact and reach of the Million Meals program, PepsiCo Pakistan is implementing an employee matching program to provide additional support. Employee donations are matched by the company for flood and food relief. The partner of the food distribution company.
