Acting Governor Chaudhry Parvez Elahi has emphasised the importance of developing a compressive approach to keep inflation under control.
He told several delegations at Governor’s House Lahore on Friday that the government must take steps to bring relief to the people.
He emphasised that people should be struggling to make ends meet.
He also emphasised the importance of taking preventative measures to prevent the omicron virus from spreading in Karachi.
Parvez Elahi was met by a PML-Q delegation. Shahbaz Goshi, Zubair Ahmad Khan Delegates included Anjum Kayani and Bilal Warraich.
They gave a report on Rawalpindi’s cantonment local body elections and organisation. Parvez Elahi was invited to Rawalpindi to launch a new party secretariat.
