Ex-Federal Minister for Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir affairs Sardar Ali Amin Khan Gandapur has said, the flood affetcees are like our family and we will not leave them alone in this hour of trouble, soon practical steps will be taken for the rehabilitation of flood victims.
Sardar Ali Amin Gandapur said this during a press conference held at “Al-Amin House”, Dera Ismail Khan.
Ali Amin Gandapur said the flood victims deserve our sympathy and help, we will not leave them alone in this difficult time, the supply of food items, dry food items, clean drinking water, mattresses, blankets, mosquito nets, and other essential items will continue till the rehabilitation of the last flood affectee.
“I claim that all flood victims will be provided with all kinds of facilities within seven days and Insha Allah the flood victims will start getting financial assistance soon and they will rebuild their houses and lead a peaceful life”, he added.
The former minister said National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) and Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) officials have started surveying the flood-hit areas to assess the colossal damage caused by this catastrophe.
Mr. Ali Amin said the relief work has started in various areas affected by the flood and all my focal persons and teams are continuing to provide relief to the flood victims day and night.
He added, that all relief activities are being done under my supervision and the entitled people are getting their rights, land routes and connecting roads are broken but in these difficult situations, the work of helping the flood victims is going on by utilizing all the resources and treating their problems.
