Shehbaz Sharif told the DISCOs staff to work around the clock to fix the bills. He said that the staff’s vacations should be canceled so that this work could be done right away and a report should be given to him.

He also said that banks should be told to stay open in the coming days so that bills can be paid.

At the meeting, it was said that the relief for power users that the prime minister had promised is being put into place. He said that the fuel price adjustment is making changes to the bills of 16.6 million people to help them out.

Moreover, PM met Islamabad-based ambassadors, high commissioners & senior members of the diplomatic corps today to sensitize them about the scale of human tragedy.
