Bitcoin hits new all time high after crossing $75,000 on US election odds

In September 2021, El Salvador became the first country to recognise Bitcoin as a legal tender and planned to build an entire city based on it. President Nayib Bukele hoped the largest cryptocurrency will spur the country’s economic growth and investment. A year later, however, the residents believe the ‘Bitcoin City’ plan is “not working anymore”.
