PTA says internet connectivity problems due to ‘issue’ in data networks.
On Friday morning, the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) stated that the internet connectivity problem reported by Pakistan Telecommunication Company Ltd (PTCL) was caused by an “issue” in data networks connecting the South and North regions.
“As reported by PTCL, the issue has been reported in data networks between South and North which is causing internet connectivity issues,” the PTA said in a statement on Twitter.

PTCL services are down across the country.
This includes private organization internet subscriptions, home users, and offices in general.
PTA is the telecommunication regulator of Pakistan, responsible for the establishment, operation and maintenance of telecommunication systems and the provision of telecommunication services in Pakistan.
