Jordan’s Crown Prince engaged to Saudi beauty Rajwa Al-Saif

Jordan’s Crown Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II announced his engagement to Saudi citizen Rajwa Khaled Al-Saif on Wednesday, according to the Royal Hashemite Court of Jordan. Jordan’s King Abdullah II, Queen Rania, and family attended the engagement ceremony in Riyadh.

The wedding took place at the bride’s family home in Saudi Arabia’s capital. The event was attended by Prince Hassan bin Talal, Prince Hashem bin Abdullah II, Prince Ali bin Hussein, Prince Hashem bin Hussein, Prince Ghazi bin Mohammed, Prince Rashid bin Hassan, and several members of the Al-Saif family, according to the Saudi Gazette.

The couple announced their engagement on Twitter, along with photos of Prince Hussein’s parents, King Abdullah II and Queen Rania, and members of Rajwa’s family.

Queen Rania also took to Twitter to express her joy. “I never thought it was possible to have so much joy in my heart!” “My heartfelt congratulations go to my eldest Prince Hussein and his lovely bride-to-be, Rajwa,” Queen Rania wrote.

More photos of the royal couple embracing their future daughter-in-law with wide smiles were shared by the queen on Instagram.

Rajwa Al-Saif was born on April 28, 1994, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, to Saudi businessman Khalid bin Musaed Al-Saif and Azza bint Naif Al-Sudairi. She is the youngest of three sisters: Faisal, Naif, and Dana.

Rajwa received her secondary education in Saudi Arabia and her higher education at Syracuse University’s School of Architecture in New York.

Prince Hussein, 28, is a Sandhurst graduate of the British military academy. He also has a degree in international history from Georgetown University in the United States.

He is a captain in the Jordanian armed forces and is capable of flying a military helicopter. A royal decree named Prince Hussein the crown prince in 2009.
