India-Pakistan match tickets on sale: Asia Cup in UAE

New tickets for the Asian Cup India-Pakistan cricket match in Dubai go on sale today, Wednesday 17th August. However, organizers have added new conditions for purchasing tickets.

“Please note that India vs Pakistan tickets are currently only available in bundles with other matches, according to the organizers,” said the tournament’s ticketing platinum partner.

This means that fans have to buy tickets to other games in order to get a pass for matches between athletes. The match between India and Pakistan will take place on 28 August at the Dubai International Stadium.

In anticipation of “extremely high demand”, the ticketing platform has implemented a first-come, first-served purchasing policy. This means fans have to join online queues based on when they log on to the site. The fans queuing on the website should expect a wait of over an hour.

The first tickets for this sportsman’s match on Monday was sold out in less than three hours. Some fans waited for hours for tickets in vain.

Some people try to make a quick reselling tickets on classifieds sites. The Platinum List warns that resale tickets are “automatically cancelled.”

According to the platform’s website, reselling tickets is illegal under state regulations, “Customers are advised not to purchase Platinum List branded tickets that have been resold through so-called secondary ticketing websites or online sales sites. Tickets may not be valid for entry or may be cancelled.
