Indo-Pak 2022 Asia Cup match tickets sold out within hours

The first batch of tickets for the highly awaited India versus Pakistan match on August 28 has been sold out in only two and half hours in UAE.

The Asia Cup mega showdown had been keeping the audience on their toes. Some fans were left unhappy as they stood in an online queue for over four hours just to be left empty-handed without receiving a ticket.

Only a few tickets beginning from Dh 2500 were available and those were gone within minutes. Organizers are now preparing to issue the second batch of tickets shortly.

“The first batch of tickets for the India versus Pakistan match has been sold out and the organisers will issue the second batch of tickets in the following days. All other matches remain on sale, so please stay in the line to acquire tickets,” Platinumlist, the official ticketing service, wrote on their website.

Even since Asian Cricket Council (ACC) announced their ticket sales for the continental extravaganza, supporters have been excitedly waiting to secure their tickets for their favourite matchups, notably the India-Pakistan clash.

India and Pakistan might meet each other as many as three times over the 16-day tournament. The Asian titans will be meeting again in the round-robin Super Four stage following their opener in Group A and in the final, should both advance.
