The Qawwali legend Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan’s tomb has been completed in Faisalabad.
The tomb’s creation was funded by the Faisalabad Art Council and a friend Rafique Gohar.
Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, a well-known singer, will inaugurate the tomb in a few days with a special prayer.
The incredible mausoleum was built in just 11 months after construction began in January 2021.

To adorn the tomb and attract tourists, special types of stone and chandelier lights have also been used.
Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, according to Faisalabad Arts Council Director Zahid Iqbal, is Pakistan’s pride and will live on in the hearts of the people forever.
As Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan’s tomb completed, some of Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan’s family members’ graves have also been saved within the tomb’s ground.
Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan PP was a Pakistani singer, songwriter, and music director.
He was primarily a singer of qawwali, a form of Sufi devotional music.
Often called the “Shahenshah-e-Qawwali”, he is considered by The New York Times to be the greatest Qawwali singer of his generation.
He was described as the fourth greatest singer of all time by LA Weekly in 2016.
He was known for his vocal abilities and could perform at a high level of intensity for several hours
