Captain Usman to be appointed as Islamabad commissioner and CDA chief

The Lahore commissioner has decided to resign following the change in the Punjab government, but the provincial government has not yet decided to relieve him of his duties.

According to reports, Capt ® Muhammad Usman, the Lahore Commissioner and Administrator of the Metropolitan Corporation, has decided to step down from his position by tonight because he will be appointed as the Islamabad Commissioner and Chairman of the Capital Development Authority (CDA).

The Punjab government, on the other hand, has yet to release him.

A request was made to Lahore Commissioner Capt ® Usman on Aug. 2 by the federal government, asking him to report this to the establishment division.

Capt Usman, a BS-20 PAS Service officer, has served as Lahore commissioner for one year, four months, and 28 days.

He also met the goals of the Covid vaccination campaign during his time in office.
