The processions in connection with the martyrdom of Ghazi Abbas Alamdar (A.S) ended peacefully in D I K

The Tazyeh processions in connection with the martyrdom of Hazrat Ghazi Abbas Alamdar (A.s) on 8th Muharram end peacefully in Dera Ismail Khan, here on Sunday.

The one of the huge processions of 8th Muharram in connection with the martyrdom of Hazrat Ghazi Abbas Alamdar (A.S) passed through the traditional routes and ended at the Imambargah Haider Shah Shirazi, the second big procession started from Imambargah Haider Shah Shirazi and ended at Jamia Masjid Lato Faqir.

During the processions, mourners recite Nohas, beat their chest for the Martyrs of Karbala.

Langar, Niaz and Sabeel-e-Hussain were also arranged on different points on the way of the processions.

Police and other Law enforcement forces, as well as volunteers from Shia associations, provided security during the procession.

The streets and paths leading to the procession were completely sealed off during the processions while comprehensive checking of people coming and going in the procession was carried out by Police Personnel.

At the end of both the processions, special prayers were offered for the establishment of peace in Muharram across the country, especially in Dera Ismail Khan, prayers were also offered for the security of the oppressed Kashmiri and Palestinian Muslims and the security of the country and the nation.

For security measures, procession routes and adjoining streets will also be sealed on Ashura Days while there will be a complete ban on motorcycle riding and the mobile services will be jammed on 9th of Muharram and 10th of Muharram.
