Speaking Truth to Oppressed

Toyota extends delivery time of cars by three months

Indus Motor Company, the producers and assemblers of Toyota brand vehicles in Pakistan, has delayed vehicle delivery dates by three months, blaming the country’s present economic crisis.

According to company executives, the company is unable to supply the automobiles on time due to difficulties in opening LC to import the car parts, which has resulted in a three-month delay in delivery.

The company apologized to consumers for the inconvenience and stated that if they so desired, they may receive a full refund of their booking fees.

Toyota’s senior executives blamed everything on the present economic crisis, claiming that due to the rise in the value of the US dollar versus the Pakistan rupee, they were unable to open LCs at banks to import the necessary parts to manufacture the automobiles.

“We are unable to import car parts, and as a result, we are unable to produce the essential vehicles,” they continued.

As a result of all of this, Toyota has increased the delivery time to three months.
