There is a chance that the price of petroleum products (POL) will drop by Rs25 per litre in the upcoming three days.
According to sources in the Petroleum Division, the price of gasoline was anticipated to decrease by Rs. 10 per litre and the price of diesel by Rs. 25 per litre.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will receive a summary from the Oil & Gas Regulatory Authority (Ogra) in this regard, and the federal cabinet must approve any price reductions.
Only yesterday, on July 12, 2022, PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz, while addressing a public rally at Jhang in connection with the upcoming by-elections on Punjab Assembly seats, had said that PM Shehbaz would announce a cut in the prices of petroleum products in the next few days given drop in their prices in the international market.
