Speaking Truth to Oppressed

Pakistan can’t survive without strong army: Imran Khan

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan stated that a strong army is required for Pakistan, but Pakistanis have refused to tolerate the current dacoit regime.

On Saturday night, former Prime Minister Imran Khan spoke at the PTI’s public meeting against inflation at Islamabad’s Parade Ground.

A large number of people attended the public gathering and chanted anti-inflation and anti-imported government chants.

Some video snippets of Imran Khan’s cricket performance and political fight from 1996 are also shown on a screen from the stage. Ibrar ul Haq and Salman Ahmad, two prominent vocalists, also performed in front of the party workers.

Addressing the workers, PTI Chairman Imran Khan stated that Nawaz Sharif is waiting for another NRO to return to Pakistan.

Imran Khan claimed that Pakistan’s current leadership has no loyalty to the country because they have riches and assets overseas.

Former Prime Minister Imran Khan stated that he wished to make Pakistan a welfare state in order to present the world with the true soft image of Islam.

Earlier, Sheikh Rasheed of the Awami Muslim League (AML) addressed the rally, demanding that the Establishment call early elections in July because the current rulers are incapable of running the country. He stated that he will remain in Lahore during the July 17 by-elections to urge voters and supporters of the PTI and Imran Khan.

Former minister Pervaiz Khattak stated that the rulers did not come to power solely to protect their wealth. According to Ali Amin Gnadapur, Imran Khan is Pakistan’s only hope for a better future.

During the protest, some PTI workers attempted to climb on the media container, but the police repelled them by providing security to the media covering the event, while some male workers broke down the barriers and entered the ladies’ enclosure. Speeches from the stage were also delayed for a short time as a result of the chaos in the ladies’ enclosure.

Regardless, the PTI chairman specifically asked the youth during his speech to care for the families and ladies present at the gathering, as it is their Islamic obligation to protect and respect them.
