US dollar loses ground against Pakistani rupee

The Pakistani rupee experienced a sharp recovery on Monday against the US dollar as it was traded at Rs206.75 in the interbank market, up 73 paisas.

The Pakistani rupee was in a shaky state earlier on Friday as it had dropped 25 paisas against the US dollar after making a healthy gain of Rs4.70 due to positive economic news.

The dollar appeared to regain strength during Friday’s trading activity, rising by Rs1.27 from its previous price of Rs208.50. However, the dollar only increased by 25 paisas in the end, ending the day at Rs207.48.
