Babar Azam breaks another Kohli’s T20I record

Pakistan captain Babar Azam has surpassed India’s Virat Kohli for the second time, having spent 1026 days as the No. 1 batter in T20I history.

Previously, Virat Kohli held the T20I lead for 1013 days.

Kevin Pietersen, a former English batter, has held the top spot for 729 days.

Former South Africa captain Graeme Smith has been the top T20I batter for 690 days.

Brendon McCullum of New Zealand topped the ICC T20I rankings for 546 days.
