The teaser for Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar’s upcoming film ‘Raksha Bandhan’ has been released. Naturally, the first impression of viewers is that it was heavily influenced by the Pakistani film “Load Wedding.”
The 2019 Lollywood film starred superstars Fahad Mustafa and Mehwish Hayat in lead roles. Netizens with keen eyes have spotted another source of inspiration or copy and are now sharing their thoughts.
Journalist Mahwash Ajaz took to Twitter to say that the upcoming Bollywood film appears to have taken heavily from director Nabeel Qureshi’s film.
“Akshay Kumar’s upcoming film seems to have ‘borrowed’ heavily from @nabeelqureshi’s #LoadWedding. Imitation is flattery? Because this isn’t the first time they’ve copied Nabeel’s work.”
The famous filmmaker, writer & director of Actor in Law, Na Maloom Afraad, Khel Khel Mein, Quaid e Azam Zindabad AND Load Wedding retweeted journalist Mahwah’s tweet.
Nabeel penned: “Load wedding Pro Max??? Ya load wedding dikhana bhai – thora aur expensive main.”
