The passport office has devised a new amnesty scheme on the orders of the interior ministry for those who hold multiple passports for various reasons.
Those who have multiple passports and have made extra travel documents due to their B-form or identity card; and women who have acquired a new passport after registering their marriage must pay an Rs10,000 fee.
Multiple passport holders who have obtained an extra passport due to a change in their names or dates of birth must pay a fee of Rs25,000.
The passport office has set a Rs10,000 fee for those who have received a new passport as a result of a change in their national identity card number, as well as changes to all other personal details.
These individuals must submit an affidavit, the correct identity card, as well as the identity cards of their parents, and a record of an identity card that has been canceled by NADRA.
