Assistant Commissioner commits suicide in Lahore.
Assistant Commissioner (Revenue) Imran Raza Abbasi committed suicide by hanging himself with the ceiling fan in his flat in Lahore on Tuesday.
Imran Abbasi was only assigned to Lahore a day ago, and he was found dead shortly after arriving in the provincial capital from Islamabad.
When his driver opened the flat door, he discovered him hanging from the ceiling fan, dead.
Police and forensic teams arrived at the scene and began collecting evidence.
Imran Abbasi was working as an Assistant Comissioner in Lahore when his driver discovered him dead, hanging from a ceiling fan.
He previously held the positions of Director Anti-Corruption in Bahawalpur and Faisalabad.
The alleged suicide was noticed by CCPO Bilal Siddique Kamyana of Lahore. He told the cops to look into the situation from every angle.
He asked the SP Model Town for a report.
SP According to Model Town, police will investigate Imran Abbasi’s death based on the medical report.
