Security increased as govt employees protest in front of parliament

Government employees continued their protest in front of Parliament House today, ahead of the National Assembly’s presentation of the federal budget for 2022-23.

According to reports, the Parliament House’s main iron gates have been closed in protest by government employees.

There is a large contingent of Frontier Corps and police officers stationed there. The FC officials would be on the front lines, with Islamabad police supporting them from behind.

The administration has devised a strategy for dealing with government employees who are staging a protest to demand that their demands be met.

In addition, a large number of Rangers officials have been stationed throughout the area.

Today, employees of the government will march from the Finance Ministry to Parliament House.
