Imran Khan nominates Amir Dogar for NA speaker slot. Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has officially put forward Amir Dogar, a prominent party figure, as its nominee for the coveted position of National Assembly speaker.
The announcement came from PTI General Secretary Omar Ayub, who addressed the media outside Adiala Jail, where the party’s founder, Imran Khan, remains in detention.
Ayub disclosed that Imran Khan himself has endorsed Junaid Khan as PTI’s candidate for the deputy speaker role within the lower house of parliament.
Expressing confidence in Khan’s spirits, Ayub emphasized the determination of PTI to pursue all lawful and constitutional means to address concerns of election irregularities, citing comprehensive documentation of Form 45 from all constituencies.
