Bushra Bibi can’t speak after poisoning, claims Lawyer

IHC suspends Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi’s sentence in Toshakhana case

Bushra Bibi can’t speak after poisoning. Intazar Hussain Panjutha, the lawyer representing Bushra Bibi, has claimed that the former first lady of Pakistan has been poisoned, resulting in severe health complications that have left her unable to speak.

Panjutha spoke to the media on Saturday, expressing concerns raised by members of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf party regarding Bushra Bibi’s well-being.

According to Panjutha, recent medical reports have confirmed suspicions of poisoning, with toxic substances allegedly found in her food.

Suspected Ingestion of Toxic Substance:

The lawyer asserted that Bushra Bibi had ingested Harpic, a common toilet cleaner, mixed into her food, causing extensive damage to her digestive system.

Legal Background:

Bushra Bibi, Imran Khan’s third wife, was sentenced to a 14-year prison term just days before the general elections on charges of illegally profiting from state gifts.

Initially held at Adiala Jail, she was later placed under house arrest at her Bani Gala residence.
