CSP Mahnoor Ali recently posted on X about a young woman entrepreneur Tehmina from Balochistan who founded “Balochi Attirs by Tabassum” platform.
This clothing brand is making beautiful and traditional dresses.
“Absolutely thrilled to introduce you all to a remarkable young entrepreneur from #Balochistan, who is not just making beautiful dresses but also fostering empowerment & preserving cultural heritage in her community,” wrote Mahnoor Ali.
Tehmina created this platform for the talented Baloch women who are expert in embroidery and handwork. The platform is also a source of sustainable livelihoods for them.

“In the heart of Balochistan, where cultural richness meets economic challenges, she saw an opportunity. Recognising the talent of #Balochwomen in embroidery & handwork, she created a platform that not only showcases their skills but also provides them with sustainable livelihoods,” Mahnoor added.
Mahnoor Ali praised Tehmina for employing women and giving them a fair wage for their work.
“Each dress from Balochi Attirs is a testament to the generations of craftsmanship that have been passed down thru the ages. But more than that, it’s a story of #empowerment. By employing Baloch women and giving them a fair wage for their work, Tehmina is empowering them,” she said.
Tehmina wants to expand her business in her community to promote Baloch craftmanship.
