Furthermore, Gandapur provided updates on the restoration of essential services like the Sehat Card and Ramadan package in KPK.

Focus on key political agendas

The meeting delved into crucial topics including discussions on the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) meeting, designed to attract investment from Gulf countries, and the upcoming Senate elections.

Both figures also exchanged thoughts on the law and order situation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK).

Positive signs in political landscape

Gandapur briefed Khan on his recent encounter with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, describing it as a constructive step toward defusing political tensions in the nation.

Gandapur emphasized the necessity of political dialogue with Khan, who has been in custody since August last year on multiple charges.

Approval for senate election candidates

In a pivotal move, Imran Khan granted approval for the PTI’s candidates for the upcoming Senate elections in KPK.

With the Election Commission of Pakistan gearing up to fill vacant seats, this endorsement carries significant weight within the party’s ranks.
