Delivery time for Pakistani passport has been increased. A number of factors, including thorough screening by the immigration officials, have contributed to an increase in the delivery time for Pakistani passports.
A conventional passport can be delivered in up to 21 working days, while an urgent passport can be obtained in just five days and a fast-track passport can be obtained in just two, according to the Director General of Immigration and Passports (DGIP), who verified this in a social media post on Monday.
Prior to this, applicants may receive their passports in 10 days for normal delivery, four days for urgent delivery, and two days for fast-track delivery.

The government also made it clear that passport applications can be submitted from 8 AM to 1 PM, with offices staying open until noon on Fridays.
The agency has further said that in order to file a complaint on any passport-related issue, either the applicant or the Prime Minister’s Citizen’s site should be contacted (051-111-344-777).
The administration has stated that the ‘need for thorough examination’ is the cause of the delay in passport issuance, but the growing number of applicants is also making it challenging for the department to process the cases promptly.
As delivery time for Pakistani passport has been increased, according to prior media reports, a large number of people are applying for passports in droves because they want to leave the nation for a better future in light of the economic difficulties that many of them are currently experiencing.
