Prosecutors in Spain have accused the 46-year-old artist of cheating the Spanish government of a large sum, this time £5.75 million.

These latest charges follow her approaching trial on six counts of tax fraud dating back to 2012, 2013, and 2014, which is due to begin on November 20.

According to Spanish media, the prosecution’s charges revolve upon Shakira’s refusal to register slightly more than £13 million in income, as well as her alleged filing of fake deductions totaling roughly £5.5 million.
