Pakistan lose No 1 ODI rankings within 48 hours

Pakistan announces playing XI with changes against Sri Lanka. Pakistan picked their starting XI for the Asia Cup 2023 Super Four match against Sri Lanka on Wednesday.

The team green will play with Sri Lanka in Colombo with the goal of confirming their position in the final round after losing to India.

As Pakistan announces playing XI with changes against Sri Lanka, Pakistan made five changes to the lineup that faced India in the Super Four earlier this week.

Fakhar Zaman, Naseem Shah, Haris Rauf, Faheem Ashraf, and Salman Ali Aghan have been replaced in the playing XI by Mohammad Haris, Saud Shakeel, Mohammad Wasim Jr, Zaman Khan, and Mohammad Nawaz.

Zaman Khan, a right-arm fast bowler, has been included to Pakistan’s 17-man roster for the ongoing Men’s ODI Asia Cup 2023.

Naseem suffered a right shoulder injury against India. He is still being followed by the team’s medical team, which is taking all essential precautions in preparation for the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023.

On the other hand, Umar Farooq Kalson, the current media manager, and Adnan Ali, the PCB’s general manager of international cricket, have each received show-cause notices after being seen together at a Colombo casino.

In a flagrant violation of the PCB code of conduct, Kalson and Adnan, who traveled with Team Green to Colombo for Asia Cup 2023, reportedly went to the casino for dinner.

Since cricketers and casinos are bad combinations and the world of cricket is still plagued by numerous gambling events, their presence at the casino raised questions.
